What is Renavit®?

Renavit® is a unique and patented multivitamin formulation containing 8 B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12) and Vitamin C. These are also referred to as water soluble Vitamins.

What is the indication for Renavit®?

Renavit® is approved as a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP), indicated for the dietary management of water soluble vitamin deficiency in Renal Failure patients receiving dialysis.


What is daily dose of Renavit®?

The normal dose of Renavit® is 1 tablet daily; the content of each tablet is designed specifically for renal patients for daily intake due to reduced intake/dialysis losses of water soluble vitamins.

Renavit is only supplied in packs of 100 tablets.


Drug tariff:

Renavit® is approved by the ACBS as a Food for special medical purposes (FSMP) and listed in section XV of the drug tariff. Please ensure that you endorse your prescription with ACBS when Renavit® is prescribed on FP10 for retail pharmacy to dispense.

Renavit® will be included in the BNF and MIMS both on line and Hard copy when these are next updated.


Renavit® will be available to all to Hospitals directly from Stanningley Pharma or from UK Pharmaceutical Wholesalers.
